What is FREEDOM?

The freedom to bang your own drum, or the freedom from hearing someone constantly banging a drum?
The freedom to drive at 90mph past a school, or the freedom to safely cross a road with your kids?
People complain that we are losing freedom, with speech being restricted and protests being banned, but you find contradictions within this.
One may complain they can’t say “wogs” on the telly anymore, yet complain that Palestine protesters have too much freedom.
One may complain that puberty blockers have been banned, but force others to use “correct” pronouns.
America is called the “land of the free” and the Global North, the Western World is known as the “free world” but in such a world as ours, freedom is only for the rich. Your rich man’s freedom is only that to make money off the backs of the poor. Rich can only exist with poor, and we poor are never free.
Somalia is the freest country on Earth. Smaller GOVERNMENT equals more freedom. Somalia doesn’t even have a government!
But are they free? No, they are in constant fear of warlords or forced to become killers or pirates to survive.
There is no such thing as true freedom, not even for wild animals.
A fox must catch a rabbit, one will lose their freedom to live.
As humans, the closest we can get to freedom is the freedom from wage slavery, freedom from constant struggle and the freedom afforded by co-operation.
In our “free world” this does not yet exist.
