Comrade Chris returns with the latest in our ongoing series exploring the use and abuse of language
Fort KNOX is used as a metaphor for security. However, it is no longer a bullion depository.

So as secure as it may be, it is better used as a metaphor for the insecurity of the global economy, based on speculation rather than material wealth.
The most secure buildings in the USA (perhaps the whole world) are the AT&T towers, which keep America’s telecoms network running.
Amanda “Foxy” Knox is an example of media sensationalism. She may or may not have murdered her flatmate, but what is the journalistic benefit of commenting on her looks?
During the first French Revolution, the terms LEFT AND RIGHT WING were coined, due to the position of the seats taken by the opposing sides of the revolution during the first National Assembly. The terms have no relevance today.

The “left” wanted such things as private property rights and small government. The “right” wanted hereditary landlordism and divine power of a king to rule.
To use the terms “left” and “right” in a modern setting is absurd. The original left are akin to the American Republicans or the majority of our politicians.
The original right believe in a God giving unquestionable power to rulers over others, they are more akin to the Saudis.

MARXISM is a philosophy, named after Karl Marx, which basically says that those who create wealth should own the means to produce it.
It is not LGBTQ+ it is not JSO, it is not BLM.
It is not the World Bank or the WEF, it is not Bill Gates or Klaus Schwab.
This is part 4 in what will be a six part series. Part 5 will be out next week starting with the letter O.
