Kelvin Mackenzie is a C*nt

Anyone from the Merseyside area will already see Kelvin Mckenzie as a cunt, as he was editor of the Sun who went with the “Truth” headline after the Hillsborough disaster.

Why is he a cunt though?

During his tenure as editor, the Sun was the most widely read newspaper in the country with a peak daily readership of 4,305,957 per week it is still now the second most read print newspaper (6,140,000 monthly) after the Metro (which is free) and the second most read online paper (18,320,269 monthly ) after the Mail (18,322,504 monthly)

These stats are taken from various sources, collected in the closest years to the present that I could find. It isn’t the best way to source statistics, but this is a piece about Kelvin Mackenzie after all.

He still writes for GB News online, posts on twitter and also co-founded Talksport, a radio station loved by us working class footie fans for its quality coverage and amusing, irreverent analysis of not just football, but other sports as well.

However, Talksport has also been the home of James Whale, Mikes Graham and Parry and Jason Cundy, mainstays of the station who despise the working class movement.

His opinions such as “Junior doctors being Union Bullies”, “Unneeded train guards being paid more than teachers*” or “Labour’s recent budget harming his landlord mate’s pension*” aren’t reasons by themselves for him being a cunt.

As socialists, we could argue that teachers should be paid as much as train guards, or that union action doesn’t work without a broader class movement and a party to represent us or that taxation doesn’t work unless it’s used to pay for a truly socialist state.

Kelvin Mackenzie (son of two journalists) does not know what Keir Starmer (son of a tool maker) means by “working people”

Working people, or the working class, are us that exchange productive labour for capital.

We need to know this to advance our position as a class.

The problem is that Mackenzie, like Starmer, is not a socialist. He does nothing productive, he thinks that these things he complains about are socialist and tells people that Labour, the current Labour party, is socialist and “semi-communist” which it isn’t.

He has had and still has massive influence over mainstream media, consumed by a large amount of British workers. He is a liar. He is clever and he knows how to manipulate people. He ate my hamster. That is why he is a cunt.

*sorry I don’t have a link for these, they were both available for free a few days ago, but they’re now behind a pay wall. If you follow the cunt on twitter, he’s probably posted the same shite on there.
