The liberal left and the many different flavours of Trotskyites will have you believe that the road to socialism in Britain is only possible via the Labour Party, which essentially is not true. In fact, quite the opposite. The Labour Party hinders all socialist movements in this country and is in fact a rabidly imperialist and anti-communist state machine that is not and never has been a vehicle for working class liberation.
